What is the business management mistake entrepreneurs make?

It is glamorous to think yourself in the position of an entrepreneur and it can be hardly argument that such apposition will make no difference in your life. But there are countless instances when entrepreneurs have failed in business management. Business advisers will have myriad lessons for managing business and some of them might prove fruitful if you use them. But the failure in business lies less in style of management and more in the purpose of initiating the business. If an entrepreneurs has kicked of a business in the lust of earning plenty the chances of failure is high.

A business idea can appear like a flash of lightning but a business cannot. There is a single and wide distinction between a business idea and a business; a business needs preparation before launching whereas an idea is devoid of preparation. Those who are driven by lust, tend to sprout ideas that have less future in it. Such entrepreneurs don’t prepare by forecasting the odds, and then overpowering them, that will appear in the course of business management. This makes the lust driven entrepreneurs fail in business management.

My statement of not marrying with a business idea instantly can be supported by the advice of testing an idea before implementing it or giving it a shape of business. In case there is a business idea then it can be well tested if the person works in a company that runs a similar business. In case the working gives him reasonable resource of knowledge then leaving a job and working full time in the company will not be bad idea.

A lot of people start a business for quick money and if by stroke of luck their business fetches handsome money they carry on it further. But such a business lacks the vision and goal. Whether it is your business or your life, it should have a well defined goal. Such businesses have a short life span and they either end up quickly or continue in a way that is not much promising.
