Top business women in the world: Check them out

The term businessman is itself a source of male chauvinism today when some of the envious places in business are captured by women. If at all we care to look at the damsels in business, then we can figure out the extent to which they have penetrated into the world of business and are ruling it too. As a blog writer I feel to change the conventional word ‘businessman’ to businesswoman. Let me put light on the top business women in the world.

Among the top business women in the world, the first place is coveted by Indra Nooyri who is the Chairman and CEO of Pepsico. She has succeeded in piping much business to the firm which ahs earned it a revenue of $60 billion. Farsighted and determined Nooyri has set her new target as 400 million dollar cost savings. The investors seem enough satisfied by the presence of Nooyri and the stocks of PepsoCo have reflected their contentment by rising 12 % more since 2009.

Women in almost every household hold the managerial post in the kitchen but when it comes to selling foods, they are outdone by men. Irene Rosenfeld has changed this equation by grabbing the port of Chairman and CEO of Kraft Foods. The acquisition of Kraft Food led by Rosenfeld made the firm stronger than before and gave a downpour of revenue which mounted to 48 billion dollar.

Patricia Woertz is yet another successful businesswoman who is the CEO of Archer Daniels Midland. She is in charge of more then 200 plants and the firm Archer Daniels Midland is presently the largest producer of corn today. The investors of ADM in stock market has immense faith on Patricia, which has made the stock price climb almost 13 % more within a period of 1 year.

Cosmetics are not just a cheesy stuff today and people like Andrea Jung are making their niche in such products and are leading the business to an extent where even their male counterpart will feel envious. Andrea is the CEO of Avon Products. She follows the above successful maidens.

With so many examples to set in the realm of businesswomen, I find the term overshadowing businessman.
