The Making of A True Leader

True leaders believe in the adage –life is not anything, it is the only opportunity to do something.

The quitters are never leaders but true leaders develop a tenacity of purpose and have a clear picture of what exactly they want to do or accomplish with the focus being on the targets and goals set by them, and have faith and believe that they can achieve their goals even if they encounter hurdles and hardships.

True leaders refrain from chanting tales of failures and try to gain sympathy from others, instead they have a clearly defined objective, a bull’s eye to shoot at, and take a stance to make a bee line to attain it.

A true leader is armed with passion, strong enthusiasm, with realistic and positive attitude which moves the heaven and earth and takes them to their goal.

Another essential factor important for true leaders is the courage which if wisely put says that courage is not the absence of despair it is rather the capacity to move ahead in spite of despair, it is the willingness to confront fear, it means flying in the face of criticism, relying on yourself, and being willing to learn and accept from the consequences of your choice.

A true leader believes, the bravest thing you can do when you are not brave is to profess courage and act accordingly as the idea is based on the premise that the important thing to do is to act, rather than try to convince yourself how brave you are or not in any given situation.

A true leader has the guts to step out if his erroneous zones, discovers his creative channels and runs on the winning track to success.

Leadership skills need to be honed constantly and a leader needs to be aware of this.
