How many of us are not looking to increase our daily productivity at work, of course none of us you may answer. But indeed, there are many people who indirectly do not give any result of their productivity work and as a result they are as good as non-productive people. The way we deal with our daily tasks at work does a great deal of work in increasing our productivity at work. Although, some might argue with me, but I had to like to state that Procrastination is sometimes healthy and it is a good treat for the soul. From our school days, we had been listening to numerous things relating to procrastination. Our teachers always showed us the examples of procrastination while we postponed our lessons or homework at school and now as grown ups we get to hear from our bosses about procrastination lessons. But, I had argue in some way Healthy procrastination is good as far you do not go beyond your limits and everything is handled in a balanced manner.
Sometimes we need a break from all of our routine work and so do we feel tired and stop working, we procrastinate, this is healthy procrastination as far as your break is not too lengthy that your important tasks to be finished at the end of the day remains unattended and give no productive results to your company. You have to be sure of accomplishing your targets or work when you procrastinate; you need to follow your to-do list systematically in order to attain your position in the office. If you procrastinate then you are the person who is going to fail and indeed you will keep procrastinating and one fine day you will pile up your tasks so much that it nearly becomes impossible for you to do any of these tasks.
A healthy procrastination helps you relax your mind and body and also helps you recharge your batteries. Some people along with procrastination are able to achieve their tasks but it would not happen at easy frequency what it could have been able to achieve earlier without procrastination. A procrastination battle are won only by the people who are well aware of their work ethics and want to achieve their targets in a more important and productive manner. You remain in control of your self, that is the true essence to remain in non-procrastination zone even after procrastinate. You need to have a proper balance in life, the one where you are and can able to achieve everything on time and that too willingly. You fail at your procrastination when:
- Your to-do lists still remain a to-do for weeks and months.
- The work backlog is giving you lots of problems professionally and personally.
- You get fired for procrastinating for not finishing the tasks at work on time due to which you even start getting health problems because of the tension caused.
