Leading A Life As A Leader
With leadership comes hordes of problems, responsibilities, priorities, setbacks, disappointments, frustrations and to cope with these turbulent situations, a true leader has to follow certain techniques like:
Don’t cross a bridge till you come to it, as your fears may be groundless as the things have not happened yet, and remember “never trouble trouble till trouble troubles you”.
Convince yourself that for every problem there is a solution, it is just a matter of being patient and finding the right answer to your situational problem by analyzing and planning.
Don’t leap in the dark, act with rational and logical thinking mind set, and act with clear understanding of the situation.
Do not be a perfectionist as they get frustrated as expect too much from themselves and from others, and they are too idealistic and less realistic. Perfection spells immobility or paralysis.
Learn to live now in the present and not waste your energies on what is done and over.
Be practical in all your interactions and accept all your problems as a challenge to your courage, guts and ingenuity.
Sell yourself the idea that you have a power within you that will help you to meet the adverse situations and adversaries courageously and that will enable you to surmount any obstacle.
Learn to control your emotions and feelings, as coping up with your day to day frustrations successfully depends on how well you can control your emotions and have a balanced state of mind.
Action is the single most effective antidote for all your problems and setbacks as it is virtually impossible to be depressed and active at the same time, and never give up, as a true leader’s business is to try till he succeeds.
