Is your work habit making your slog?



Working seamlessly can make a person offer adequate amount of work daily but all too often individuals find meeting target very toiling for a typical day. How does that happen? Is it because we are dumped with too much of work? Perhaps the answer lies in the working habit that doesn’t allow a person to work in the right fashion. Your work habit is an index of your productivity and when you have the habit of getting distracted all too often then the productivity will definitely swoon.

You cannot always blame the Facebook’s Farmville for your distractions, as there are several other work habit that makes an individual get distracted from his work. At least 6 out of 10 people have the habit of checking personal mails frequently in between their work which damage productivity significantly. There is a thumb rule for your email checking, which says that never check your mails in the morning. Try to check mails in evening to avoid checking the mails every now and then.

Meeting are well known for wasting time as meeting ends up with planning and not real work. Minimizing this planned wastage of time should be practiced and for that try to pull down the status meeting that are held almost weekly. Project status can be seen or monitored through business software applications and this can save your time for productive work.

Making to-do list is must when you are working in a company or carrying on a business. But your stick to your to-do list religiously? I hope that answers not that promising. The to-do list is basically a routine that we set in the beginning of a day or a day earlier. When we fix it we take into account only the productive work and thus the list shows you the productive work minus distractions. Hence, sticking on to it faithfully will help you improve your productivity and one you mangle the to-do list, it is bound to happen that you cannot maintain it throughout the day.
