Can office fixes improve your productive work?
It can be a surprising statement where changing of the office design can make people deliver more productive work. It may evoke wonder in you but the recent research on productivity has proved it right. A company sets target and monitors the employees all too often so that they have less distractions and offer maximum productive work their ability allows. But this belief can now be said wrong as contemporary research on office design and infrastructure shows its impact the employee productivity.
Ventilation within an office is a big question and often it becomes the source of pain for employees. Lack of proper ventilation can make the employees burn more energy while offering less output. The stale air inside the office scaled down the productivity and in case there is a scope to improve the ventilation process, the productivity will improve by at most 11 %.
Temperature is yet another area where improvement can increase the productivity of your employees. Research has been conducted to find the impact of temperature on productivity on the productivity of the people working in it. It has been found that the increase in temperature from 68 to 77 Fahrenheit generates typo and reduces the productivity by 44 %, while the typing output decreases devastatingly.
Daylight is a yet another factor to increase productivity and it has been proved that when employees work on a room where less daylight enters, their productivity recedes. On the contrary people working in a place that receives enough daylight, can make the productivity high enough.
