Common reasons for tardiness are traffic, lack of sleep, bad weather, issues involving kids, house work, bank work, car trouble, missing keys, personal emergency, and for some coming late is a sort of rebellion against the establishment. Some even love the mini crisis of running late and the adrenaline pumping.

Time management is not about structuring time, it is about structuring ones priorities and the attitude should be while approaching any task, one must be clear about the impact, implication of the his task on his future, career, work.

Punctuality is very imperative for success, and it means that one is good not just at planning but also in predicting ones day and time management, and is an asset to the company and reflects the loyalty to the company.
